As a Swiss expat living in the US, I've been searching for an easy way to make rösti that tastes like home. This mix is perfect! The texture is spot on - crispy outside and tender inside. I add some Gruyère cheese on top and it's just like my grandmother used to make. Will be ordering regularly!
I bought this to serve with the Zürich Geschnetzeltes sauce also sold here, and the combination was fantastic! The rösti comes out perfectly crispy every time, and it's so much easier than grating and preparing fresh potatoes. Great time-saver without sacrificing quality.
The texture and quality of the potatoes are excellent, but I found myself wanting to add more salt and pepper to match the flavor I remember from my travels in Switzerland. That said, it's very easy to prepare and makes a great base. I like to add some of the Alpine Herb Blend from the same company to enhance the flavor.
